Revlon Colour Stay Foundation review!

Hey everyone!

I really wanted to try a new foundation, as I was living by my Armani luminous silk foundation, but felt I needed to change it up. I had heard a lot about this Revlon Colour Stay foundation, and I realised I hadn't really tried many products from Revlon. So I popped into my local Superdrug and had a nosy! This foundation says its for combination/oily skin, which is perfect for me as I am combination skin, but I can mostly be a little oily but not too much. It has SPF 15, and states its a 24 hour wear foundation and states its a lightweight feel with a flawless finish. So does the foundation live up to it expectation?

I have been wearing this foundation for around a month now and I absolutely love it! It's a lovely natural finish, like it states and is very lightweight, I don't feel it on my skin all day, its not a heavy consistency at all. I have applied it both with a brush and a beauty blender, and I personally prefer to apply this foundation with a beauty blender. It isn't a full coverage foundation, however it is buildable to get a full coverage finish with this foundation. Its a matte finish, as its for combination/oily skin, so if your looking for that dewy finish, this foundation isn't for you. It is a longlasting foundation, however, I haven't wore this foundation for 24 hours so I can't say if that statement is true, but I have wore it for days out and long periods of time and its stayed in place, and looked good, but personally I did sometimes have to top up with a little bit of powder. Just one negative, is that it does dry quickly, and doesn't give you a long time to blend and perfect your skin, compared to other foundations. So you just have to work quickly with it and it'll be fine, it is a easy foundation to work with!

The shade range in Revlon foundations are amazing, they do so many, from cool toned to warm toned, from light to dark, I found it easy to find my shade. My shade is 'Fresh Beige' and it's perfect for me! I got my foundation from Superdrug, and they have testers for every foundation so just try a little on your neck and see which shade is best for you! The price was amazing too! It was £12.99, and I got this in a 3 for 2, so I got more products for an amazing price! And you get a lot of product in the foundation which is also great!

So all in all I think this a great everyday and affordable foundation, and it is one of my new favourite makeup products! So I give this foundation four stars!
